AIRDOOR Q&A

“This Q&A is my way of answering the questions I’m asked most often about AirDoor – what it is, how it works and why it performs so differently to a conventional overdoor air curtain. It gives a clear, practical explanation of the design, from the three-sided aerodynamic archway to the intelligent control system that responds in real time to changing conditions at the entrance.

In the Q&A, I also walk through the real numbers behind AirDoor: typical energy savings of up to around 30% on gas in medium-sized supermarkets, winter electricity reductions of over 50% in some boutique stores, and significantly lower electrical demand than many traditional air curtains.

Alongside comfort and safety benefits, we look at how this translates into reduced carbon emissions and measurable progress towards sustainability targets for high-footfall retail and commercial sites.”
